Arbor Cases was born from a boy and his love of trees…
As I got older, my dad set up a tire swing on Big Maple, a big lonely tree in our back yard.
Along with my sisters and friends, I spent days on end swinging on that tire and looking up at the great tree that held a huge place in my childhood and ultimately in my heart. I remember trying to talk my friends push me as high as they could it was great.
Then we moved and then we had more trees to climb, name and explore. Then after years of convincing I talked my mom into letting me build a tree house in the Tree that I called affectionately Old George an old bumpy tree. I didn’t build just any Tree house I built the best tree house we could. I found old 2 by 4s crooked and straight and built one level. Then I built a nice deck to sit out on. Then years later I built a second floor and had a Great view of the neighborhood. My friends and I hung out in the tree house all the time. I had my first kiss up in my tree house. Years went by and I left for college. One day while I was away my Tree house and tree fell and i felt bad.
Later in life after I am now married and am more into technology than the out doors. I bought an iPhone 4 and have many other gadgets and I had a plastic case on my iPhone to protect my phone. But the plastic was cold and it didn’t look as nice as I liked. Then I remembered that my parents had some walnut planks of Arther my loved walnut tree. So I had some of Arther made into a Great Walnut iPhone Case. After making the case I sanded it and hand rubbed an oil finish on it. When I was done the case looked and fit great so much so that I decided to start making and selling Wood iPhone cases from local trees that are taken down by nature, thus Arbor Cases was born.
